Before we begin, let’s just say that the printed company brochure or leaflet will always have its place (which, of course, is something we can also oblige with...)
Right, now we’ve cleared that up we can go on.
The ‘brochure website’ is often – and quite wrongly in our opinion – seen as something of a poor relation to e-commerce and fully content managed websites. Not so. In fact, this couldn’t be further from the truth.
The brochure website fulfills a wide spectrum of roles and, when done well, be an incredibly strong marketing tool. It can be a shop front for products, a gallery or portfolio; it can be a show reel of services and a directory of key personnel.
Tell your customers about the company history, how it all began, where they can find you and how they can get in touch.
Images come to life with animation and Flash to engage the user; sales messages are lifted from the screen; the call to action delivered with dynamism to turn the passive browser into an active customer. Forget about turning pages - think about the customer navigating to where you want them to be, and what you want them to see.
