So, here's where you stand: you know who you want to talk to, and you know
where to find them.
Job done, surely? Not quite.
If you've got this far then the last thing you want is for your message to dry up,
be tongue tied, lost in translation and, well, end up in the bin.
How do you make a direct mailer stick? Obvious, you make it sticky.
Make it jump out from the morning's post, catch your customer off guard. "I wasn't expecting that, but now I'm interested..."
Maybe it's a slow burner, sitting on a desk for a few days, being picked up, read, put down again. Maybe it gets passed around the office. Maybe it gets your website a few more visits. Maybe it generates that phone call which leads to new business.
Unfortunately we can't do maybe's, but we can certainly do sticky.
