What's the point?


A new event, or a repeat event driven by one of five factors: 'Because we've always done it'; 'Our peers all do it'; 'We've had some success previously at this event'; 'It will elevate our brand'; 'We want to get into that market'. There's some validity in all these statements and by booking the space, turning up and brushing down the old stand, you will more than likely make one or two new contacts with potential. But what could be achieved with a meticulously planned approach?

 

Why?


What are your objectives for the event or exhibition? by applying focus to what you want to get from it, it could be life changing. Ok so we may have got a bit carried away with life changing but by having clear objectives those one or two new contacts with potential could easily be increased 10 fold and from contacts to new clients.

 

Who?


You will have a good idea of the type of clients you would like to meet at the show or, even better, know who you want to meet at the show. Left to chance, they may walk straight past your stand or visit when 'the wrong staff' are present.
